The Future is Female
During brunch I sat next to Caroline Myss, a spiritual teacher and medical intuitive who told me that by the time I was 30 years old I’d have a baby girl.
My husband Sal and I had just started talking seriously about trying, and I was excited to know a child was in our future. At the time of the brunch I had just turned 29.
But the following year, my 30th birthday came and went with no baby.
I tried to focus on work and not to obsess too much, but being the Type-A planner that I am, the idea of surrendering to the process while still trying to make something happen was downright exhausting.
Then, a month before my 31st birthday, when I had pretty much written off Caroline’s reading - it happened. I found out I was pregnant.
After two years of anticipation, Sal and I cried happy tears of relief and excitement- this was really happening.
The past few months have been just a taste of the big emotions and love we know will come this Christmas when we welcome our baby girl into the world.
Which is why I’m emailing you today...
My schedule this summer and fall is filling up fast- so if you’ve ever thought about hosting your own Dream, Girl screening alongside a Q&A with me now is your chance before I take maternity leave this winter.

“The best part of the night was having Erin there for a Q&A after the film. The audience had so many questions for Erin that we had to cut them off or we never would have gone home – that’s how engaging she was! Thank you, Erin, for making our event a night that will be remembered for years to come!”
