What if the most mystical journey of your life could start right in your living room?

When a suburban stay-at-home mom discovers she can talk to the dead, it upends everything she thought she knew about herself and her reality.

In A Grimoire for My Daughters: Stories to Unlock Your Intuitive Gifts & Awaken Your Inner Witch, Erin Bagwell weaves personal storytelling with practical magick lessons, guiding her daughters and readers to follow the breadcrumbs and discover their own intuitive abilities.

While many spiritual works drift into abstract ideology, Erin’s pop-culture-loving perspective and passion for women’s history keep her story grounded and relatable. Each chapter intertwines heartfelt reflections on motherhood, mental health, and even The Real Housewives, reminding readers that intuition isn’t found in the stars, but in the stories we live every day.

The book explores a wide range of spiritual topics – meeting your guides, receiving signs, using tarot, and dismantling the myths around mediumship. Each lesson builds upon the last, blending teaching with storytelling so the reader remains inspired and rooted in real-life moments of magick.

For anyone who’s ever felt the nudge of something unseen or longed for deeper connection, A Grimoire for My Daughters is both a mirror and a map, guiding us home to our intuition, our ancestors, and ultimately, to the daughters who will inherit our stories.

About the Author

Erin Bagwell is an intuitive medium, witch, and storyteller who helps pop-culture-loving creatives open their intuitive gifts and find the magick in everyday life. She is the founder of Under the Moon Gate, an online community and blog where she shares spiritual stories, psychic development lessons, and reflections on modern witchcraft.

Before embracing her intuitive path, Erin spent a decade as an award-winning filmmaker and creative entrepreneur. In 2014, she launched a successful Kickstarter campaign raising over $100,000 to produce her first feature-length documentary, Dream, Girl, which highlights inspiring female entrepreneurs and was created by an all-woman crew. The film premiered at the White House under the Obama Administration and went on to screen at more than four hundred grass roots events globally.

In 2018, Erin became a mother and directed Year One, an intimate documentary about postpartum depression and the transformative experience of new motherhood. The film premiered on Motherly in 2021, was selected by eight film festivals, and resonated deeply with mothers worldwide.

Erin’s work and story have been featured in Forbes, TED, Vogue, and The Washington Post, and she was named one of Oprah’s SuperSoul100—a list of extraordinary individuals creating social impact and living with intention. She was also featured in Apple’s “Behind the Mac” campaign celebrating Brooklyn’s exceptional creatives. Through the American Film Showcase, Erin has traveled to Tajikistan, Egypt, and Morocco, leading workshops on women’s representation in media and storytelling.

In 2023, Erin began formal mediumship training in Lily Dale, New York, one of the world’s oldest spiritualist communities. Her intuitive awakening inspired the creation of Under the Moon Gate and her debut book, A Grimoire for My Daughters: Stories to Unlock Your Intuitive Gifts & Awaken Your Inner Witch. Part spiritual handbook, and part memoir, Erin dares readers to stop searching for the magick outside themselves and to finally see that the sacred has lived within them all along.
